An updated analysis shows that less than 1% (0.8%, 46.7 billion) of United States Total Expenditure (~6.1 trillion) is on Foreign Assistance (source White House: OMB) and most of that according to Foreign AID Explorer is the United States Agency for International Development (41.4%, 19.32 billion).

Some analysis of firearm fatalities in US by state. Rate is deaths per 100,000 population. Looks like Alaska and the South (LA, MS, AL) have some of the highest rates of death by firearms.
